Most of us always wonder that why we can't continue youtube video even after turning off screen. Majority of Indians play songs, bhajans, watch spritual discourse, news and that time we just want to listen the audio. PROXIMITY SERVICE.
You can use any other application also which enables the PROXIMITY SENSOR of your device. Now a question comes “What a proximity sensor do in your device? “
A proximity sensors in the smartphone works on the nearness of any object to the smartphone. In most of the smartphone, the proximity sensor is at the top nearby the front-facing camera. With the help of proximity sensors smartphones detect the distance of any object near the display of the smartphone and if that object is much close to the display then it shuts off the display to save power and obviate unnecessary touch input.
So, after installing this app you have to just click on the application and it will automatically enables your proximity sensor. Now open any youtube video and put something on the sensor and see your phone screen get off but the video will still continue in background.
PS - Instead of putting something on the sensor just put your phone down from the screen side. It will detect the platform as an obstacle and you can enjoy. And I apologize to those who uses youtube on keypad devices.😞😞
